The fusion of art and automobiles has been powered in thrilling exhibits worldwide including our featured top-notch artists such as Andy Warhol & Keith Haring together with established luxury car manufacturers Porsche, Mini Cooper, BMW and Ferrari,etc.
Green Art Asia conveys the first ever art + automobile exhibition at a car showroom in HK with renowned contemporary artist Nan Qi. ART CAR paves the way to three prime luxuries – Car, Power and Sex, creating a drive in this ceaseless society. Moved by the concept of the fundamental three, Green Art Asia presents signature and important international Chinese ink dots artworks, especially created for ART CAR, from artist Nan Qi, all inspired by the notion. Green Art Asia is happy to collaborate with Golden World Motors Co. Ltd.
Subsequent to Green Art Asia’s distinctive mark from the typical gallery-set norm, the whereabouts of ART CAR will be held in a luxury car showroom somewhere in Tsim Sha Tsui, where guests will be conducted along a grand red carpet with a display of awe-inspiring artworks, as they are served with premium canapés and wine, from BUNGALOW by Privé Group.
About Nan Qi
Nan Qi is a Chinese contemporary artist who was born in 1960. He is considered as “the master of ink dots”. Nan Qi’s work has been widely recognized by museums and he has had many exhibitions and achieved numerous awards including the Contemporary International Art Fair Miami; the Royal Academy of Art, London; the 4th Beijing International Art Biennale; The Second Prize for “Great Wall Exhibition” by the National Museum of Art, Beijing; the Special Association Award at the “19th Japanese International Art Exhibition” by Ginza Art Museum, Tokyo; the Contribution Award at the “European International Fine Arts Exchange”, Rotterdam, the Netherlands, etc. Several works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Red Salute' sold at Poly International Auction in 2007 for USD 71,923 and “3D Female Soldier” sold at Bonham’s in 2014 for USD 71,881,etc.
